This bill amends the City’s data breach notification laws to make them more consistent with requirements under New York State’s SHIELD Act. Under the new law, City agencies would be required to promptly disclose a security breach that involves persons’ personal information to the City’s Chief Privacy Officer and to the Office of Cyber Command.

This bill requires the licensing of third-party food delivery services, and repeals a subchapter in the Administrative Code that contains existing laws regulating these businesses.
